Business magnate, Dan Gilbert, and Quicken Loans may have chosen a name for the M-1 light rail system. Quicken loans has naming rights to the 3.33 mile train system, which will be build along Woodward Avenue. On December 3rd, Quicken trademarked the name Rocketrail and according to the Detroit News the company also trademarked qQlink, QLine, and Quickline. M-1 rail officials aren’t confirming the name of the light rail at this time but expect an announcement regarding their plan in 2016.
