One person is in custody after allegedly fleeing from police with a baby in a vehicle on Alter near Jefferson Avenue. The chase began in Grosse Pointe Farms and ended on Detroit’s east side. Grosse Pointe Farms police say during the chase they were able to lay down sticks flattening the tires of the SUV. Once in custody officers found an infant in a car seat.
