A judge has dismissed rape charges against three Detroit men because the victims failed to appear in court. 22-year-old Chico Bruce, 18-year-old Edward Orr and 17-year-old Jordan Alexander Reese were accused with the rape and robbery of a couple on the city’s west side. The couple were allegedly approached by six men last month, forced to undress and then robbed at gun point. The woman was raped. Neither police nor the prosecutor have explained why the victims decided not to testify. The attorney for one of the men says the description was off, and police arrested the wrong man.
