DTE Energy is offering a $2500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect in any of the three cases of its crews robbed at gunpoint on Detroit’s west side. All of the robberies happened within a few miles of each other. One was at Schoolcraft and the Southfield on Saturday. On Monday, there was one near Livernois and McNichols and then near Seven Mile and The Lodge. Chief Security Officer for DTE, Michael Lynch, says the suspects will face an enhanced penalty under state law for targeting utility workers.
