EMT is fired for refusing to help dying baby

She refused to help—and it cost her job. An emergency medical technician was fired after she was accused of refusing to go to a house where an 8 month old baby had stopped breathing.

According to WDIV, she said she told her supervisor that she didn’t want to “be on no scene 10 minutes doing CPR,” and that “you know how these families get.” An ambulance did get to the house eventually, but the baby died the next day.
