Judge Shannon Holmes ruled Monday afternoon that the father and stepmother of 13-year-old Charlie Bothell V will go to trial on second degree child abuse charges. The torture charge against the parents was dropped. A year ago, he went missing for 11 days. He was found in the family’s basement. The search led to an investigation of his father and stepmother. He claims he had been abused, the parents have said the boy is lying.
