Cutbacks coming to the Utica School District

There will be cutbacks in one of the largest school districts in Michigan. Utica community schools is laying off 34 teachers, selling vacant property and making other cost reductions according to the Detroit News. District officials said a decline in federal grant funds and falling enrollment forced the school board to make the cuts.
