Lansing teenager has pleads guilty to sex trafficking

A Lansing teenager has pleaded guilty to sex trafficking charges in connection to a sex trafficking ring operating out of Lansing last year. 17 year old Mariah Haughton will serve 4 to 20 years in prison. The trafficking incidents took place between March and July of last year.

Court documents show Haughton recruited girls between the ages of 14-18 on the street and at a juvenile center to work as prostitutes. Two other men face prison terms in connection to the same trafficking incidents.
