Hundreds charged in massive health care fraud including 16 from Metro Detroit

243 people, including 16 in this area, have been charged in a massive health care fraud sweep. The accused include doctors, nurses and pharmacy owners. Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch said the all the cases and fraudulent billings allegedly total $712 million. In the Detroit area, 16 people, including doctors, a social worker, a pharmacist and two physical therapists were charged with a fraud and kickback schemes totaling over $122 million.
