Men charged with ethnic intimidation

Two men are charged with ethnic intimidation and weapons charges for shooting a pellet gun at a group of students walking home from Grosse Pointe North High School. Police say the incident happened in late April. The teens say a man came out of a house on Vernier and told the kids to get off the lawn, but they say they weren’t on the lawn. They were then shot at from the upper floor of the house. After weeks of investigating, police arrested brothers Benjamin and Aaron Francis. Both men are in their 30’s and both face several charges, including ethnic intimidation and felony firearms.
