Fire has done heavy damage to a popular eating and drinking spot in Grosse Pointe Park. A multi-alarm fire overnight at the Sunrise Sunset Saloon on Charlevoix and Beaconsfield kept fire-fighters busy. Two fire-fighters were hurt when the roof collapsed. One reportedly suffered a broken ankle. The second is suffering smoke inhalation. The fire spread to a second business next door. In addition, police at the scene say one person has been arrested for trying to steal fire gear from a truck at the scene.
