The New York Times has reported that federal investigators have identified “criminal wrongdoing” connected to General Motors faulty ignition switches. The paper says a settlement could be reached as soon as this summer. It also says that former GM employees are under investigation and could face criminal charges. The defect has been linked to 104 deaths so far.
