Wayne County Commissioners are scheduled to meet Tuesday morning to discuss Wayne County Executive Warren Evans’ plan for reorganizing county departments. Evans previously announced plans to consolidate three departments and a division.
Evan’s plan also calls for eliminating the county’s Department of Economic Growth and moving its functions to a semi-public agency. County commissioners are concerned that the plan violates the county charter.
