It surpassed all expectations thanks to WJR listeners and it’s making Detroit a better place. The over $800,000 raised from last December’s second annual Mitch Albom “S.A.Y. Detroit” Radiothon was presented to 15 Detroit area charities Wednesday. WJR’s Lisa Cipriano describes the scene as we hear from Mitch and a very special recipient.
