A Troy man is scheduled to be arraigned today on multiple charges related to a series of arsons in Royal Oak.
33 year old Elliott Manes is facing multiple felony charges in what Royal Oak Police say was an ongoing crime spree.
There have been 13 fires in the city since November of 2015 that investigators say had set intentionally.
In one case at a local business, police say a fire was related to an early-morning break-in where firearms and electronics were taken.
Prosecutors say cutting edge technology was used in their investigation, but that it was old fashion police work that led to the arrest of Manes.
He is now facing eight arson charges, three charges of breaking and entering and a charge of larceny of a firearm.
