Detroit Police have arrested a 29-year-old man for a series of shootings in the area of Joy and Dexter for five months.
Police spotted the suspect running from a shooting scene Wednesday.
Police said the suspect threw away a handgun as he was running and he was also armed with an AR-15.
At least seven occupied homes were shot up early Wednesday morning.
