A doctor at the Macomb County Jail is accused of being involved in sexual relationships with a number of inmates in the jail.
Dr. Steven Cogswell, of Waterford, is charged with six counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Police and prosecutors charge that Cogswell had sexual encounters with female inmates in August and September in the jail’s medical clinic. He has been fired by Correct Care Solutions, a contractor for the jail.
