I-75 Second Repave Will Close A Lane

It’s not a free ride. But fixing it will be done at the contractor’s expense… part of SB I-75 in Oakland County.
M-DOT says a portion of the first phase of the I-75 modernization project needs to be redone because of ride quality issues.

The segment reopened to traffic in September of 2017. But the pavement has settled, and so the pavement is uneven from South Boulevard to Adams Road.

M-DOT says the repair work will close one lane of the southbound freeway from 8:00 p.m. tonight until Sunday night.

The repaving will be conducted at the contractor’s expense.
