Cumulus Detroit’s WJR Receives Broadcast Excellence Award as Station of the Year from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters
WJR Also Wins 14 Best in Category Awards and 9 Merit Awards
Cumulus Media announces that WJR-AM/News Talk 760 in Detroit took top prizes as Station of the Year in the Broadcast Excellence Awards presented last week by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters (MAB). WJR was also honored by MAB with 14 Best in Category and 9 Merit Awards for its outstanding talk talent, its news, sports and marketing departments, its community involvement and public affairs excellence, and for its new media and commercial production. The Broadcast Excellence Awards were presented by MAB at the annual Great Lakes Broadcasting Conference held last Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Lansing Center in Lansing, MI.
