Plumbing business Plumbing Professors is offering free water testing. Plumbing Professors plumbing expert, Matt Rourke, told Glenn Hague on WJR’s Handyman Show that Plumbing Professors will ship a test kit to Flint residents homes upon request. After residents obtain water samples and send the test kit back to Plumbing Professors, they will send the samples to an authorized laboratory that will test and list everything in the water. Rourke also says Flint residents can receive a free water filter by calling (800) 654-1300 or by e-mailing him at Matt@PlumbingProfessors.com. Rourke advises Flint residents to not buy or repair anything in their homes until they have confirmation of the contents of their water via a professional water analysis.
