Jury selection begins Monday for 26-year-old Baltimore police officer William Porter. Porter is the first officer to be tried for the death of Baltimore’s Freddie Gray. The six officers facing charges will be tried one-at-a-time amid what are bound to be worries and protests regarding how the verdicts will be received. Prosecutors and defense attorneys will begin selecting the jury that will hear the case against Officer William Porter. Porter faces several charges in the death of Freddie Gray. Experts believe the process for trying Porter will set precedence for the prosecution for the five remaining officers.
