An Orchard Lake man is scheduled to be sentenced today in a mortgage foreclosure scheme. 52 year-old Steven Ruza, entered a guilty plea to a charge of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from state residents who were facing mortgage foreclosures. Prosecutors say Ruza and his company, Home Legal Group Incorporated, promised victims they could obtain mortgage modifications that would save their homes from foreclosure. However Ruza did little or nothing to obtain those modifications.
