A 110-year-old woman, believed to be the nations oldest veteran, will soon be making a trip to Washington that includes a scheduled meeting with President Obama. Emma Didlake a long time Detroit resident and a veteran of the Women’s Army Auxiliary Corps during World War II, is scheduled to leave today. Her trip was arranged by Talons Out Honor Flight, Didlake joined the corps in 1943.
