October 12, 2026 ~ Lions commentator Lomas Brown joins Jamie Edmonds and Chris Renwick on WJR to discuss the team’s big win, offensive struggles, and support for Dan Miller.
DETROIT ~ For many Detroit Lions fans, the voice of the team has long been Dan Miller, but behind that familiar presence was his wife, Cynthia “Cindy” Miller, whose love for football and family made her a beloved part of the Lions community. Cindy, who died Saturday at 63, attended every Lions home game and was a familiar sight near the Detroit bench, sharing her passion for the team with her husband, children and grandchildren.
Friends and family remembered Cindy for her warmth, humor and welcoming spirit, qualities that left a lasting impression on those around her. Following the Lions’ win over the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, Lions coach Dan Campbell dedicated a game ball to Dan Miller and his family, calling the longtime broadcaster “salt of the earth” as the organization rallied around one of its own during a difficult time.
