GRAND BLANC TOWNSHIP, Mich ~ One year after a deadly attack that killed four people, injured several others and destroyed their church, members of a Grand Blanc Township congregation are taking a major step forward in their recovery. Church leaders broke ground on a new stake center at the same McCandlish Road site, creating a larger facility that symbolizes healing, resilience and hope for the future.
The congregation is also continuing its commitment to the community that supported it in the aftermath of the tragedy. Recent food donations to local organizations reflect a desire to give back while honoring those who were lost and everyone affected by the attack.
