DETROIT ~ A shooting on Detroit’s west side turned deadly Sunday when three men were killed and four others were injured at what police described as an after-hours venue. Investigators said an altercation near Eaton Avenue and Prest Street escalated into gunfire, leaving families and neighbors searching for answers in the aftermath.
Police said the four surviving victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries as detectives continued to pursue leads and search for those responsible. City leaders pledged support for those affected as the community grapples with another act of gun violence.
