DETROIT ~ The Detroit Lions return to Ford Field at 1 p.m. Sunday looking to bounce back from last week’s loss to Buffalo behind one of the NFL’s most explosive offenses. Quarterback Jared Goff has thrown for 533 yards and six touchdowns through two games, while Amon-Ra St. Brown has 19 catches for 209 yards and four touchdowns as Detroit aims to improve to 2-1.
One of the day’s biggest storylines will be the return of former Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn, who returns to Detroit as head coach of the New York Jets. Glenn helped lay the foundation for the Lions’ turnaround under coach Dan Campbell, adding extra emotion to a matchup that could serve as an early measuring stick for a team with playoff expectations.
