DETROIT, MICH. ~ Devon Jason Watson, a 42-year-old Detroit resident, has been charged with one count of first-degree murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of Jaquoya Wix.
Wix, a 34-year-old mother, was killed last Sunday in the alley behind the Chipotle on Woodward Avenue where she was an employee. The defendant and the victim did not know each other, according to a press release from Prosecutor Kym Worthy.
Police say that the suspect was suffering from mental health issues.
