ROYAL OAK, MICH. ~ The Detroit Zoo responded to a threat made against the zoo Tuesday afternoon, working with local officials to come to the conclusion that there was no credibility to the threat.
According to the Detroit Zoo’s social media, “Similar calls have been reported at zoos across the country in recent weeks, with no incidents or harm reported.”
The zoo returned to its normal 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. hours on Wednesday.
