DETROIT, MICH. ~ An Air France flight from Paris to Detroit was diverted to Montreal, Canada Wednesday afternoon after Ebola concerns arose due to a passenger on board from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The passenger boarded the plane due to an error, and the flight was diverted per request from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol, according to The Detroit News.
There has been an outbreak of Ebola in eastern Congo that started on May 15, and the World Health Organization has already recorded 139 suspected deaths.
