DAVISON TOWNSHIP, MI ~ A popular game being played by high schoolers nearly turned deadly when a police officer almost shot a participant.
A Davison Township police officer was responding to calls of “suspicious activity” in a Davison Township neighborhood, near Flint, suspecting it was a burglary. While patrolling the area, a young student jumped out and sprayed water on the officer with a squirt gun, nearly making the officer shoot the suspect.
A group of high schoolers was participating in a popular “water wars” game with water guns in the area.
