MESICK, MI ~ A small Michigan school district is taking a drastic step toward technology in its classrooms by installing a “no screens” policy.
Mesick Consolidated Schools, located south of Traverse City, is looking to improve literacy scores by pushing for reading time and removing Chromebooks from elementary classrooms. The district will also prioritize handwriting over typing.
