WASHINGTON D.C. ~ The Bureau of Labor Statistics released its January jobs report on Wednesday, showing a better-than-expected job market.
The report shows that about 130,000 jobs were added last month, exceeding economic forecasts, with unemployment falling from 4.4% to 4.3%. The healthcare and construction sectors added the most jobs in January, with federal government jobs falling by about 32,000.
