DAVOS, SWITZERLAND ~ United States President Donald Trump is expected to speak at the World Economic Forum on Wednesday morning from Switzerland. Many European leaders are anxiously awaiting Trump’s arrival, as discourse over Greenland has been making waves on social media after Trump posted a computer-generated picture of himself, Vice President J.D. Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio planting an American flag on the territory on Truth Social. Trump has also threatened leaders with tariffs if they push back on his attempt to acquire Greenland. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen spoke out on Trump’s threats, labeling them “a mistake.”
