PLYMOUTH, MI ~ One of golf’s biggest parties is coming back to Michigan. LIV Golf confirmed Thursday that its season-ending Team Championship will return to The Cardinal at Saint John’s Resort in Plymouth from August 27 through 30, 2026, following a wildly successful debut this past summer.
“It was really exciting to see the crowds and everybody enjoy the Cardinal at St. John’s, and we’re looking forward to doing it again this year,” said Nick Becks, executive director of golf at Saint John’s Resort, during an interview on “‘JR Afternoon with Ryan Ermanni.” Bex added that organizers plan to build on the momentum: “We learned a lot last year, and we’re going to make the fan experience even better in 2026.”
The four-day tournament promises the world-class golf, live music, and fan-friendly experiences that made last year’s championship a hit with players and spectators alike. Fans can already lock in priority access to premium hospitality tickets by placing a deposit at LIVGolf.com. Additional details on concerts and ticket packages will be announced soon.
For Saint John’s Resort, the return of LIV Golf is more than just a sporting event, it’s a chance to showcase Michigan on a global stage. “We’re focused on raising the bar for 2026, from the course setup to fan experiences, so every guest leaves saying this was the best event they’ve ever attended,” said Saint John’s Resort Managing Director Dustin Dent.
Michigan joins a global lineup of 14 LIV Golf events next season, including stops in Riyadh, Adelaide, Hong Kong, and London. For ticket information and updates, visit LIVGolf.com.
