DETROIT, MI ~ On the back of over 250 total yards and three touchdowns from Detroit Lions‘ running back Jahmyr Gibbs, including a 69-yard scoring run in overtime to take the first lead of the game, the Lions (7-4) overcame plenty of mistakes to take down the New York Giants (2-10) 34-27 on Sunday afternoon at Ford Field. Kicker Jake Bates kept the game alive with a 59-yard field goal with around 30 seconds left in the fourth quarter, tying the game for the first time since the beginning of the match. Quarterback Jared Goff finished with 279 passing yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. Wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown accounted for over half of Goff’s yards, tallying 149 receiving yards and a touchdown.
