Nov. 9, 2025 ~ The Detroit Lions‘ (6-3) scored some playoff payback in a 44-22 win over the Washington Commanders (3-7) Sunday afternoon. After losing in last year’s NFC Divisional round in Detroit to Washington, the Lions jumped on the Commanders early, roaring to a commanding lead before the first half ended with U.S. President Donald Trump in attendance. Detroit quarterback Jared Goff led the way with 320 passing yards and three touchdowns. The Lions will head to Philadelphia next Sunday night for a primetime showdown with the Eagles.
