CLEARWATER, FL, July 24, 2025 ~ Famed pro-wrestler Hulk Hogan died at 71 years old from a heart attack, leaving behind a controversial legacy.
Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, was found dead in his Clearwater, Florida home after first responders responded to a cardiac arrest. He and his famed red and yellow ring attire were icons of wrestling, with him most known for his ’80s run in the then WWF (now WWE) and his ’90s run in the now-defunct WCW. In total, he had 12 world championship reigns throughout his career, along with winning the famed Royal Rumble match twice.

The pro-wrestling company brought him back for occasional appearances starting in 2018 and onwards, usually to mixed or negative reception from live crowds.
Hogan also became publicly involved in politics during the 2024 presidential election, when he appeared at the Republican National Convention to rally behind now-President Donald Trump for his third bid for the White House.
