Former UAW official Nancy Adams Johnson has been given 1 year in prison for taking bribes from some Fiat Chrysler executives during contract bargaining.
Johnson was the number-two officer in the UAW’s Fiat Chrysler department.
The U-S Attorney’s office says Johnson has been cooperating with their investigation into the misuse of funds from the UAW Fiat Chrysler National Training Center.
The feds asked that Johnson’s arrival at prison be delayed while they investigate. Johnson accepted a plea agreement.
Johnson is the sixth person to be convicted in the on-going investigation.
