The sales of existing homes were down in September 5 percent in the Detroit area. The median sale price was up 5 percent, to 169-thousand 900 dollars.
Sales in Oakland County were especially down.
Listings are down 13 percent from last year, according to Realcomp. That’s what is driving up prices. This continues a trend that began last year.
