A Saginaw-area man is due in court today for raping a girl.
Samson Watters was convicted of raping a young girl 17 years ago.
He spent 15 years in prison, getting out in late december of 2016.
Prosecutors say it took only 6 months for the 34 year old Watters to attack another minor.
This victim was described as a girl whom prosecutors say was “not even close” to her teenage years.
Watters was arrested on June 29th and charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a victim younger than 13.
A first-degree is punishable by up to life in prison.
