UPDATE: The Wilmette Police confirmed that they have found Sinead O’Connor and she is no longer listed as a missing/endangered person.

Police in Chicago confirm they are searching for singer Sinead O’Conner, the Irish singer has a history of mental illness. There are reports she may be suicidal. Police in the village of Wilmette say the 49-year-old O’Connor went for a bike ride in the area on Sunday at 6 a.m. and has yet to return. Authorities in the North Chicago suburb said they have no further information and declined to answer more questions.
