Taylor police say a 7-year-old girl and her mother were shot and injured Thursday night at the Taylor Sportsplex. The shooter then killed himself. Police say the mom and daughter were in a vehicle leaving soccer practice when a man walked up and shot them. They believe the shooter knew the mother but aren’t sure of the relationship. The coach of the girl’s team said the man walked through their practice, before walking up to the girl and her mom afterwards.
