Ford is laying off 1-thousand workers at the Flat Rock assembly plant. The layoffs come after Ford announced new investments at the plant as the company is in the midst of a production re-structuring. New electric cars will be built at Flat Rock. Many of these workers will be transferred. And moreĀ jobs will be coming back to the plant in the near future.
