Work stoppages are now underway at two hi-profile hotels.
Unionized workers have voted to strike the Westin Hotel at Detroit Metro Airport.
They join workers at the Westin Book Cadillac hotel in Detroit, who have been on strike all week.
Unite Here Local 24 represents housekeepers, server, cooks and other workers at the hotels. The union is citing workload and pay as the main issues.
Both Westin hotels are owned by Marriott.
