Oak Park Police said a 64 year-old man was stabbed Monday night on a bus because another man thought he broke into his house.
The suspect jumped over a few seats and stabbed the man in the chest.
Police said that the victim did not break into the house.
The suspect tried to flee but was caught and taken into custody. The victim was taken to the hospital and released a short time later.
The case will be handed over to the prosecutor’s Office today.
