A mobile counterfeit lab operation has been busted by police in Ann Arbor. Police arrested a California man who may have been making and passing the phony 20’s, and possibly making phony ID’s and gift cards.
A gas station clerk got the license plate of the vehicle used by the man who used a counterfeit 20. Police tracked down the vehicle at a hotel.
Police think the mobile counterfeit operation was working in Michigan for several months.
