A candle may have started a fire in which 5 people were hurt in an apartment complex in Ypsilanti. The fire occurred at the University Green apartments on Green Road. All 18 units were damaged. More than 40 residents have been displaced. The apartments are used for off-campus housing for nearby Eastern Michigan University.
