CONTINUED: Since joining the Detroit Economic Club in 2021, Blake has become deeply involved in the organization’s mission and growth. He has served as a volunteer for the Career Readiness Academy, a regular volunteer at DEC events, and currently serves on the Young Leaders Board. As Event Committee Chair for the Young Leader Conference, he has helped develop impactful programming for emerging professionals while contributing to membership growth that has reached its highest level since the COVID pandemic. Through these efforts, he has worked to connect young professionals with influential business leaders, mentorship opportunities, and meaningful community engagement experiences.
Blake’s dedication to service extends well beyond the DEC. He serves on the board of the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Metro Detroit, where he previously chaired the Next Gen group and helped expand engagement among professionals under 40. He has also supported numerous organizations throughout southeast Michigan, including South Oakland Citizens for the Homeless, the Detroit Regional Chamber, Ronald McDonald House of Detroit, Forgotten Harvest, and MCHS Family of Services. In addition, he helped establish a service initiative that brings professionals together to support local nonprofits through volunteerism, mentorship, and community impact.
Whether he is advising clients, mentoring future leaders, or volunteering throughout the community, Blake remains committed to helping others succeed. His leadership, dedication to service, and passion for strengthening Detroit’s future have made a lasting impact on both his profession and the broader community. These accomplishments make Blake Allen a deserving recipient of recognition as a 2026 Detroit Economic Club Rising Star.
