IRAN ~ As Iran and Oman close in on reaching a deal for a passageway through the Strait of Hormuz, President Donald Trump is denying that the U.S. is running low on munitions.
Iran and Oman are reported to be finalizing the coordinates and terms of an approved route through the waterway, which has been at the center of the war started by the U.S. and Israel back on Feb. 28. With Iran closing the strait and the U.S. issuing a naval blockade on Iran has caused global distruptions in the oil trade, causing U.S. gas prices to soar in recent months.
As the war on Iran continues and negotiations keep falling apart, sources with knowledge of the situation have told media outlets that the U.S. is running low on its stockpile of long-range precision missiles, with one source telling Reuters that the U.S. has used “virtually all” of its Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) and Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM). Trump fired back at these reports, claiming the Pentagon has “massive amounts of munitions.”
